THE DEMENTIA DIARIES OF NANNY JUNE

I share our journey not to generate sympathy but to raise awareness and address the stigma about having someone in a care home.

I wish I could have been told what this life of ours would be like before it became the great shadow under which we live.

The financial mess dementia causes, the social situations it ruins, the incidents with police, the involvement of social services.

I want to shine a light where people don’t want to look.
