The One Where The World Went Mad.

There are a number of care homes locally. They have now almost all tested positive for cases of COVID-19.

This week I should be visiting Nanny June.

However, a couple of days ago I received a letter. It outlined changes to the already limited visiting hours.

All visiting is now suspended. To be reviewed in almost a month’s time.

In a month I will be even less of a memory.

The home has said it might consider visits through the window. I don’t think I want that. I don’t think it would go well. Nanny June has quite poor eyesight now.

And why would you want to talk to a random stranger who claims to be your daughter through a closed window. You would think the world has gone mad.

And at this time in history, you would be right.
